“Fantastic hotel in midtown”

This hotel is immaculate, stylish and super cozy! Beautifully decorated using the old details from the original milliner's factory. The rooms are a very nice size for NYC standards with great attention to detail. Beds and bedding extra comfy... the bathroom was gorgeous! I found the staff to go above and beyond, so warm, helpful accommodating and friendly! Lovely rooftop with great views! I am definitely going to stay here on my next visit to Manhattan!

“Birthday Weekend Get Away”

We planned a last minute trip for my husband's birthday. After looking at several properties I decided on the Refinery Hotel and we were not disappointed. The location was fantastic, close to great restaurants and entertainment. The staff was gracious and attentive. I let the staff know when I booked the reservation that it was my husband's birthday - on his birthday they had a complimentary bottle of wine and a birthday cupcakes waiting in the room for us after we returned from brunch. The rooftop lounge has great views of the city and was the perfect spot to unwind. The hotel was beautifully restored, elegant while rustic, the staff was amazing and the location was perfect.

“Great Choice!”

Our stay these past three days at the Refinery was fantastic! The hotel is centrally and conveniently located without being too much in the midst of Time Square mayhem. The rooms are large for NYC. The hotel has a wonderful ambiance. I loved their shampoo and lotion! The hotel staff was super kind. We would absolutely stay here again! The rooftop bar serves a pretty tasty margarita against the backdrop of the Manhattan sky...

The hotel staff couldn't do enough for you, loved the room and the bed was like a welcome hug after a long day running around. Rooftop bar provided well earned, well made drinks and again lovely staff.

“Great place, with a touch of the past”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Refinery. They've maintained aspects of the old millinery, which we loved. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful, the food was good, and the hotel decor is just perfect. The area is not the greatest, but there are subway stops within walking difference.

“Great hotel with Jazz bar”

As a first time visitor to New York I didn't know quite what to expect, but this hotel didn't disappoint. The staff are always cheerful and helpful and the the rooms are stylish and comfortable. The ground floor bar/ lounge isn't huge, but nice for the occasional drink with jazz music often playing. We had most of our evening meals in the restaurant Parker and Quinn which was very good. The Refinery Rooftop bar is always very busy and we did use it on a couple of occasions, but book ahead if you want a seated area outside. The view of the Empire State Building is great. Our rooms had comfortable beds and were changed every day if you wanted. Overall an excellent hotel with character.
