Our location

Refinery Hotel is located in the heart of the Garment District, within walking distance of Bryant Park, Times Square and the Empire State Building. We are less than a one-minute walk from Fifth Avenue, home to high-end shopping and retail stores.

Refinery Hotel is located a short 2-block walk from the Bryant Park/42nd Street MTA subway station for the B,D,F,M and 7 trains and 4 blocks away from the Herald Square stop at 34th Street where the N, Q, and R trains stop. Refinery is also a short 4-block walk to Times Square MTA subway station for the 1, 2, 3, A, C, and E trains. Bus: The M7 and the M5 stop on 6th Avenue, and the M1, M2, M3, M4, M5 on 5th Avenue. The M42 travels from East to West on 42nd Street, 4 blocks north.

Taxi

Taxis are alays available at all major airports (JFK, LaGuardia, Newark). The drive from JFK International Airport is about 45 minutes, while the drive from LaGuardia Airport is about 30 minutes.

Private car

If needed, our concierge will happily arrange for door-to-door service with a private car.

Public transportation

From JFK: You can take the Airtrain from JFK to Sutphin Boulevard in Queens and then transfer to a Manhattan Bound E train to the Refinery Hotel on 38th and 6th Ave. Transfer to the F train at Forest Hills – 71st Avenue, Manhattan/Brooklyn bound and exit at Bryant Park, where you will be two blocks away from Refinery.

From LaGuardia: You can take the M60 bus headed towards Manhattan and exit on 125th Street. You can then take the D Manhattan/Brooklyn bound express train and exit on Bryant Park/42nd Street and walk 2 blocks down to 38th and 6th Ave to Refinery.

From Newark: You can take the Air Train to NJ Transit directly to Penn Station and walk up 4 blocks to Refinery on 38th.
